Teams and Workspaces
Learn how Team workspaces are structured and why they are the core unit for collaboration and billing.
FileToWeb is designed around workspaces. In most deployments, Teams are the primary workspace type.
Team-first model
A Team workspace is the main collaboration boundary for:
- Billing and Credits
- Members and roles
- Shared Folders and Files
Ownership and isolation
Each Team has its own account context. Data in one Team does not mix with another Team.
This means:
- Team A members do not automatically access Team B content
- Billing and Credits are tracked per Team
- Folders and Files stay scoped to their Team
Daily workflow in a Team
- Members join the Team.
- The Team creates Folders.
- Members upload and process Files.
- Members review, edit, and publish Pages.
