CITY OF OAKWOOD

The Council of the city of Oakwood, State of Ohio, met in an executive session for Council Retreat in the second-floor meeting room at the city building, 30 Park Avenue, Oakwood, OH 45419.

Council members in attendance were Mayor William Duncan, Vice Mayor Steve Byington, Rob Stephens, Leigh Turben, and Healy Jackson.

The following members of staff were present: City Manager Katie Smiddy, Law Director Rob Jacques, Public Works Director Doug Spitler, City Engineer Chris Kuzma, Public Safety Captain Keith Benson, Human Resources Manager Sangita Anand, Finance Director Maralee Leonard, Assistant Finance Director Lisa Gower, Program Supervisor Thomas Hayes, Code Enforcement Officer Sarah Valentin, and Clerk of Council Lori Stacel.

The Council Retreat began at 5:00 p.m. with a dinner meal. At 5:30 p.m., discussions started on financial matters and strategic planning.

Mayor Duncan adjourned the executive session at 8:15 p.m.
