Human Resource Director Judy Stevenson gave an update on the Human Resource Department. The county has several openings, including a part-time victims advocate, Event Coordinator and Fair Assistant, Certified Patrol Officer, part-time Information Systems Technician, Legal Assistant for the Public Defense Office, and Part-time Records / Administration Assistant at the Sheriff’s Office. They have received applications from a lot of great candidates.

Commissioner Hansen explained the rezoning request and stated all comments from the previous public hearings are still being considered at this public hearing. Community Development Director Mike Hyde summarized the request and the process thus far.
