ANNOUNCEMENTS:

BZA 11-26

The appeal filed by Murphy Oil U.S.A. on premises located at 1421 East 29th Street, Muncie, Indiana is continued to the next monthly meeting on May 28th, 2026 at 6:00 pm.

BZA 16-26 Special Use

The appeal filed by DCRT LLC, on premises located at 2517 West 8th Street, Muncie, Indiana has been changed to a Special Use and will first be heard by the Metropolitan Plan Commission at a public meeting on May 7th, 2026 at 6:00 pm and will then come before the Board of Zoning Appeals at the next monthly meeting on May 28th, 2026 at 6:00 pm.

Jurisdiction: Board of Zoning Appeals

Being a continuation of a public hearing on the matter of an application filed by McDonalds and Pegasus Future II, LLC., requesting a variance from the terms of the City of Muncie Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance to allow a pole sign for a new restaurant on a corridor road, on premises located on the southeast corner of Macedonia Avenue and 29th Street, Muncie, Indiana, as more accurately described in the application.
