Delaware-Muncie Metropolitan Plan Commission

WHEREAS, the Delaware-Muncie Metropolitan Plan Commission (DMMPC) is the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), as designated by the Governor of the State of Indiana, for the Muncie Urbanized Area; and

WHEREAS, the Transportation Policy Committee (TPC) is the policy committee of the Metropolitan Planning Organization involved in the transportation planning process for the Muncie Urbanized Area; and

WHEREAS, the proposed modification to the FY 2026-2030 DMTIP to increase INDOT project DES #2301262, SR 67 & Cowan and SR 67 & SR 28 (Traffic Signals, New or Modernized), to increase FY26 RW from $8,200 to $8,640 Federal HSIP funds and to increase RW State funds from $900 to $960 for a total increase of $500 was requested by INDOT; and

WHEREAS, INDOT Project Des #2301262 was submitted to the Interagency Conformity Group (ICG) for confirmation of exempt status with an exempt status concurrence date of March 27, 2025.

WHEREAS, the proposed modification above was approved and processed by the Muncie-Delaware Metropolitan Plan Commission (DMMPC) Muncie MPO on January 9, 2026.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Delaware Muncie Plan Commission (DMMPC) as follows:

Section 1. That the FY 2026-2030 DMTIP be modified to increase INDOT project DES #2301262, SR 67 & Cowan and SR 67 & SR 28 (Traffic Signals, New or Modernized, to increase FY26 RW from $8,200 to $8,640 Federal HSIP funds and to increase RW State funds from $900 to $960 for a total increase of $500 as shown on the attached Exhibit A.
