Resolution 26-17
WHEREAS, the Delaware-Muncie Metropolitan Plan Commission (DMMPC) is the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), as designated by the Governor of the State of Indiana, for the Muncie Urbanized Area; and
WHEREAS, the Transportation Policy Committee (TPC) is the policy committee of the Metropolitan Planning Organization involved in the transportation planning process for the Muncie Urbanized Area; and
WHEREAS, the proposed amendment to the FY 2026-2030 DMTIP to add FY27 PE to INDOT project DES# 2401488, 0.12 miles North of SR 32 to 0.11 miles South of SR 332 (7miles) (HMA Overlay, Minor Structural), in the amounts of $1,730,000 Federal NHPP funds and $193,000 State matching funds was requested by INDOT; and
WHEREAS, the proposed amendment to the FY 2026-2030 DMTIP to INDOT project DES #2401488, to decrease FY29 CN from $61,382,000 to $28,442,000 Federal NHPP funds and to decrease CN State funds from $6,820,000 to $3,160,000 for a total decrease of $36,600,000 was requested by INDOT
WHEREAS, the proposed amendments above were reviewed and approved by the TPC by e-vote concluding on March 17, 2026.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Delaware Muncie Plan Commission (DMMPC) as follows:
Section 1. That the FY 2026-2030 DMTIP be amended to add FY27 PE to INDOT project DES# 2401488 in the amounts of $1,730,000 Federal NHPP funds and $193,000 State matching funds as shown on the attached Exhibit A.
Section 2. That the FY 2026-2030 DMTIP be amended to decrease FY29 CN from $61,382,000 to $28,442,000 Federal NHPP funds and to decrease CN State funds from $6,820,000 to $3,160,000 for a total decrease of $36,600,000 funds as shown on the attached Exhibit A.
