The Council of the city of Oakwood, Ohio, met in a work session on Monday, December 14, 2020 in the council chambers of the city of Oakwood, 30 Park Avenue. The Mayor of the City, William Duncan, presided.
Council members in attendance were Mayor William Duncan, Vice Mayor Steve Byington, Councilmember Rob Stephens, Councilmember Anne Hilton and Councilmember Chris Epley. Staff in attendance were City Manager Norbert Klopsch and City Attorney Rob Jacques.
Mayor Duncan called the work session to order at 7 p.m. and began by reviewing the agenda for the regular session this evening. Thereafter, Mayor Duncan led a discussion on the following agenda items:
- STATUS REPORTS: Mayor Duncan noted that there were no status reports scheduled for regular session this evening.
- VISITORS: Mr. Klopsch confirmed that there were no scheduled visitors for the regular session this evening.
- LEGISLATION: Council discussed the following legislation scheduled for presentation at the regular session this evening:
- An Ordinance to approve updates to the Traffic and General Offenses Codes, Mr. Stephens
- An Ordinance to approve the 2021 Budget, Vice Mayor Byington
- An Ordinance to amend 2020 appropriations to address additional Coronavirus funds, Vice Mayor Byington
- An Ordinance to amend 2020 appropriations for an Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation dividend, Vice Mayor Byington
- An Ordinance to regulate the usage of toy vehicles on public streets, alleys and sidewalks, Mr. Stephens
- An Ordinance to amend the lease agreement with the Wright Library Board of Trustees, Vice Mayor Byington
- An Ordinance to amend the organization and staffing schedule, Vice Mayor Byington
- STAFF REPORT: Mayor Duncan noted that there was no staff report scheduled for the regular session this evening.
There being no other business, at 7:15 p.m. Mayor Duncan adjourned the work session and Council moved to regular session.
