EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates possession of the requisite knowledges, skill, and abilities.

  • High school diploma
  • Commercial Class B with tank endorsement or greater
  • Current and continual Fire Mechanic 2 or EVT Fire Apparatus Technician 2 or greater
  • Five years journey level experience in heavy diesel and gasoline engines.

Smog, brake, and lamp certification from the Sate of California is preferred.
