PUBLIC COMMENTS

The City Council will conduct a Public Comment Period to allow members of the public to address the Council regarding any matter pertaining to or affecting the City of Jarrell.

  • Each speaker shall be limited to a maximum of three (3) minutes to make their remarks.
  • Unused time or any portion of an individual's allocated time may not be conceded, transferred, or shared with another speaker.
  • The overall Public Comment Period is subject to a total time limit set by the Council.
  • City Council members will not engage in discussion or respond to matters raised during public comments unless they are specifically listed on the agenda.

Those wishing to speak to the City Council must complete the appropriate color card listed below and present the card to the Municipal Clerk prior to the beginning of the meeting. Please wait to be invited to approach the podium and observe the three (3) minute time limit when speaking.
