Summary of Work: Circuit #2 Compressor Replacement
We hereby propose to furnish all labor and materials necessary to complete the following scope of work:
- 1) Arrived on site to diagnose Circuit 2 on 20-ton package unit.
- 2) Verified compressor failure and confirmed replacement was required. .
- 3) Recover existing R-410A refrigerant from Circuit 2 per EPA procedures.
- 4) Remove failed compressor and inspect refrigerant piping and components.
- 5) Install new compressor and replace associated fittings/seals as needed.
- 6) Pressure-test Circuit 2 and confirm no refrigerant leaks are present.
- 7) Evacuate system to appropriate vacuum level to remove moisture and non-condensables.
- 8) Charge Circuit 2 with 11.2 lbs of R-410A refrigerant per unit specifications.
- 9) Start equipment and monitored operating pressures, temperatures, and amperage.
- 10) Verify proper cooling operation and return unit to normal service.
The above work will be performed in a workmanlike manner in accordance with the terms and conditions and the drawings and specifications, if applicable.
