ORDINANCE 2025-04

AN ORDINANCE FOR PURPOSE OF CREATING A NEW FUND FOR GRANT FUNDED DELAWARE COUNTY VETERANS COURT (PROBLEM SOLVING COURT PROGRAM)

WHEREAS, the Delaware County Community Corrections has implemented a Problem-Solving Court program;

and

WHEREAS, the Delaware County Community Corrections is being awarded funds to further advance this program; and

WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners is supportive of the Delaware County Community Corrections receiving these funds and a new fund needs to establish for the purposes of deposit and use of the funds by the Delaware County Community Corrections.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF DELAWARE COUNTY, INDIANA:

  1. 1.
    The Delaware County Auditor shall establish a fund entitled Delaware County Community Corrections Veteran’s Court (Problem Solving Court Program) and the County Auditor has issued a budget fund number of 9225 with respect to these funds.
  2. 2.
    Such funds are non-reverting, and the expenditure of said funds shall not require appropriation by Delaware County Council.
  3. 3.
    This Ordinance is effective upon adoption.
