A total of 2 bids were received for the project, ranging from $542,740.00 to $619,355.51. The Engineer's Estimate was $465,000. Beaty Construction, Inc, of Boggstown, Indiana, submitted the apparent low bid of $542,740.00.

The bid total submitted by Beaty Construction, Inc. is overstated by $60 due to a quantity error in Line 36 of their itemized proposal. The corrected total bid amount is $542,740.00, rather than the $542,800.00 originally submitted.

Each bid package was reviewed in detail to confirm all necessary paperwork had been completed and submitted in accordance with the Contract Bid Documents with any exceptions noted on the Bid Tabulation. The paperwork was completed and submitted properly for the following bidders: Milestone, Beaty Construction.

In conclusion, we have confirmed that Beaty Construction, Inc has satisfied all bid requirements of the project and recommend awarding the Delaware County Bridge No. 179 Rehabilitation Project to Beaty Construction, Inc in the amount of $542,740.00 as the lowest responsible and responsive bidder.
