  • Open House Event: Mr. Klopsch commented on previous open house events at the city facilities. They have not been well attended. A discussion ensued on ideas for conducting city facility tours for groups such as the MOMs of Oakwood and Oakwood Rotary Club. Mayor Duncan noted that the Oakwood 3^rd graders from Smith and Harman visit City Hall and the Oakwood Safety Department annually.
  • Zoom Meetings: Mr. Klopsch reported that the new equipment in council chambers is installed and Zoom can now be used during our meetings. Visitors will be invited to attend in-person (still with a 10-person limit), virtually attend and participate via Zoom, or watch via the live stream. As Zoom administrator, we have the ability to prevent visitors from speaking during any portion of the meeting other than the Visitors portion. Visitors participating via Zoom will also not be allowed to “chat” or send messages during the meeting. Two visitors from AES (formerly DP&L) will join Council via Zoom at the March 15 work session. Assuming the system functions properly, the April 5 regular session will include a public attendance option via Zoom.

At 7:05 p.m., Mayor Duncan concluded the work session and opened an executive session for personnel matters.

At 7:15 p.m., Mayor Duncan adjourned the executive session and Council moved to regular session.
