As a common carrier railway, its impact will be wide-ranging and transformative. While transporting the Uinta Basin’s abundant oil and natural gas is a key component, the railway’s benefits extend well beyond this single industry. We anticipate that the railway will become a crucial lifeline for the region’s diverse and expanding sectors.
Greg Buxton spoke in favor of the Uinta Basin Railway and thanked the parties for initiating the project.
Greg Miles, a resident of Duchesne County, spoke in favor of the railway. He appreciates all of the efforts that have been made to get the railway here. He agrees with all that has been said and the positive effects that this rail will bring. He agrees that the private activities bonds should be used for the project. He is fully supportive of the project.
