Conflict of Interest Disclosure
The Utah County Officers and Employee Disclosure Act set forth at Utah Code Ann. § 17-16A, et seq., as amended, requires officers and employees of the County to disclose certain actual or potential conflicts of interest that exist or may arise between an officer or employee’s public duties and personal interests. Additionally, Duchesne County Personnel Policy, requires all employees to adhere to legal, moral and professional standards of conduct in the fulfillment of their duties with the County and demonstrate the highest ideals of honor and integrity in all public and personal relationships to merit the respect, trust and confidence of the public. This Disclosure Statement is required to be filed with the County Clerk prior to taking office or commencing employment with the County. An updated form should be filed annually thereafter on or before January 31 of each year. An updated Disclosure Statement should also be filed when any personal, financial, or employment interests change, potential conflicts arise, or as otherwise required by law.
