1) The DCBOH met in regular session yesterday. In the course of business, 2 nominees were selected to pass along to the Commissioners for consideration and appointment to fill the seat left vacant following the resignation of Dr. Tony Dowell last month. Those nominees are:

• Dr. Jeffrey Ulrich (Urologist)
• Dr. Hal Dickson (Neurologist)

Both nominees received praise from Board members who knew them.

2) The DCBOH has been tasked with a deadline of September's meeting to provide a list of candidates for the other vacancy, that includes the layer of consideration by the Mayor. Following the September meeting, I will have a list of names for your consideration.
