The Planning Commission of the City of Oakwood met in regular session at 4:30 p.m. in the council chambers of the City of Oakwood, 30 Park Avenue, Oakwood, Ohio 45419.

The Chair, Mr. Andy Aidt, presided and the Clerk, Ms. Lori Stacel, recorded.

Upon call of the roll, the following members responded to their names:

MRS. HARRISON GOWDY PRESENT
MR. GREG LAUTERBACH ABSENT
MR. KEVIN HILL PRESENT
MR. STEVE BYINGTON PRESENT

Officers of the city present were the following:

Mrs. Katie Smiddy, City Manager
Mr. Robert F. Jacques, City Attorney

There were no visitors in attendance.

Mr. Aidt shared that Mr. Lauterbach could not attend the meeting and asked to be excused. It was moved by Vice Mayor Byington and seconded by Mr. Hill that his absence be excused; the motion was approved by viva voce vote.

Mr. Aidt conducted a brief organizational meeting to select the chair and vice chair for 2025. Mr. Byington moved to retain Mr. Aidt as chair and Mrs. Gowdy as vice chair, seconded by Mr. Hill. Upon a viva voce vote on the question, the motion passed unanimously and it was so ordered.

Mr. Aidt asked if there were any questions or concerns with the minutes from the November 6, 2024 meeting. There being none, it was moved by Mr. Aidt and seconded by Mrs. Gowdy that the minutes be approved as submitted and the reading thereof be dispensed with at this session. Upon a viva voce vote on the question, the motion, the same passed unanimously and it was so ordered.

Mr. Aidt invited Mr. Jacques to present the staff report for Application 25-1.

Mr. Jacques shared that Application #25-1 is an application filed by the City of Oakwood for an administrative review of a new plat for Fairridge Park. The administrative review does not require a public hearing. The property currently exists as seven separate parcels that would be combined into a single parcel. There are no changes proposed to the existing dimensions or park boundaries.

It was then moved by Mrs. Gowdy and seconded by Mr. Hill to approve Application #25-1 to combine seven separate parcels into a single parcel for Fairridge Park.
