OAKWOOD CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION
FEBRUARY 4, 2019
The Council of the city of Oakwood, Ohio, met in a work session on Monday, February 4, 2019 in the conference room of the Oakwood Municipal Building, 30 Park Avenue. The Mayor of the city, William Duncan, presided.
Council members in attendance were Mayor William Duncan, Vice Mayor Steve Byington, Councilmember Rob Stephens, Councilmember Anne Hilton and Councilmember Chris Epley. Staff in attendance were City Manager Norbert Klopsch and City Attorney Rob Jacques.
Mayor Duncan called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and began by reviewing the agenda for the regular session this evening.
Thereafter, Mayor Duncan led a discussion on the following agenda items:

STATUS REPORTS:
- 2019 State of the City Address: Mayor Duncan mentioned that he will deliver the 2019 “State of the City” Address at the regular session this evening.
- Citizen Committee Appointments: Mayor Duncan mentioned that he is in the process of contacting citizens for appointment to committees. No appointments will be made at the regular session this evening.

LEGISLATION: Council discussed the following two items of legislation scheduled for regular session agenda this evening:
- An Ordinance to clarify requirements for the removal of abandoned or topped poles in the public rights-of-way, Mr. Stephens
- A Resolution ratifying and confirming a policy for city credit card accounts, Vice Mayor Byington

- 2019 CM Budget Message: Mr. Klopsch confirmed that Council received the draft 2019 City Manager Budget Message. There were no questions or comments made regarding this message.

There being no other business, Mayor Duncan adjourned the work session at 7:20 p.m. at which time City Council moved to regular session.
