ORDINANCE NO. 2026- 10

AN ORDINANCE CREATING A NEW FUND FOR GRANT RECEIVED BY THE DELAWARE-MUNCIE METROPOLITAN PLAN COMMISSION (DMMPC) FOR THE UNIFIED DOCUMENT ORDINANCE (UDO).

WHEREAS, the DMMPC has made application to the Ball Brothers Foundation for a grant related to the Delaware County and the City of Muncie Unified Development Ordinance (UDO);

WHEREAS, the funds have been approved by the Ball Brothers Foundation;

WHEREAS, the DMMPC has received a grant related to the Delaware County and the City of Muncie Unified Development Ordinance (UDO);

WHEREAS, it is necessary to establish a fund in the Auditor’s Office into which the proceeds will be deposited and from which expenditures will be disbursed.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT REMEBERED BY THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DELAWARE COUNTY INDIANA THAT:

1)
The Auditor’s Office shall establish a fund entitled DMMPC Grants and said Auditor has issued a budget fund number of 9226 with respect to these funds.
2)
Such funds are non-reverting. Further, since the grant budget is approved and non-reverting, the expenditure shall not require appropriation by the Delaware County Council.
