The Council of the city of Oakwood, State of Ohio, met in an executive session for Council Retreat at the Smith Gardens House, 11 Walnut Lane, Oakwood, OH 45419.

The following members of council were present: Mayor William Duncan, Vice Mayor Steven Byington, Mr. Robert Stephens, Mrs. Anne Hilton and Mr. Christopher Epley.

The following members of staff were present: City Manager Norbert Klopsch, Leisure Services Director Carol Collins, Finance Director Cindy Stafford, Law Director Rob Jacques and Chief Alan Hill. Also attending for the first agenda item was Oakwood Schools Superintendent Dr. Kyle Ramey to provide a briefing on the Oakwood Schools Master Facilities Plan (MFP) and other school matters.

The meeting began at 5:00 p.m. with a dinner meal. At 5:30 p.m., Dr. Ramey provided an overview of the Oakwood Schools Master Facilities Plan (MFP) and other school matters, and then departed the meeting at 6:05 p.m. At 6:05 p.m., discussions started on financial matters and strategic planning.

Mayor Duncan adjourned the executive session at 8:05 p.m.
