WHEREAS, the city of Oakwood is a participating political subdivision of the Dayton Regional Energy Special Improvement District, a special improvement district created pursuant to Chapter 1710 of the Ohio Revised Code; and
WHEREAS, Section 1710.04(A) of the Ohio Revised Code requires Council to appoint a person to serve on the Board of Directors for the Dayton Regional Energy Special Improvement District, and Council’s prior appointee is no longer employed by the city;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OAKWOOD, MONTGOMERY COUNTY, OHIO, THAT:
SECTION I. Council hereby terminates its previous appointment and appoints the Law Director to serve as the city’s successor representative on the Board of Directors of the Dayton Regional Energy Special Improvement District, consistent with the requirements of Ohio Revised Code Section 1710.04(A).
SECTION II. It is hereby found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this Council and that all deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements including §121.22, Ohio Revised Code.
