EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• Must be at least 18 years of age with a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid EMT (EMT-1/EMT-B) Certificate either through the National Registry EMT or State of California. Must maintain local certification requirements.
• Must possess a valid CPR “Healthcare Provider” card issued by the American Heart Association or equivalent.
• Must possess, or within one month of appointment must obtain, an Ambulance Driver Certificate through the CA DMV.
• Must possess a valid California Class C Driver’s License with a satisfactory record
• Physical fitness and ability to perform basic physical tasks, continuously move +/-25lbs, and lift up to 50lbs.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as adhere to the chain of command.
• Bilingual language skills.
