Assessor’s Office – Tax Adjustments
Treasurer Stephen Potter presented three tax adjustments for the Assessor’s Office. Parcel 1438 – After an onsite inspection, an adjustment was necessary to correct the errors for a credit of $1,137.54. Parcel 4531 – primary exemption was stripped for the wrong residence for a credit of $2,190.94. Parcel 0324 – Changed to primary with application for a credit of $913.23. Commissioner Killian made a motion to accept the tax adjustments for the Assessors Office as presented. Commissioner Miles seconded the motion. Commissioner Killian voted aye, Commissioner Miles voted aye, and Commissioner Hansen voted aye. The motion passed.

Parcel 8420 – There is an error in the subdivision; according to the legal description, this is not a parcel for a credit of $93.88. Discussion & Appointment to Open Seats on County Boards
Two boards have open seats: the Children’s Justice Center Board of Directors and the Uintah Basin Medical Center Board of Health.
Commissioner Miles made a motion to appoint Michelle Hull to the CJC’s Board of Directors as the Criminal Defense Attorney. Commissioner Killian seconded the motion. Commissioner Miles voted aye, Commissioner Killian voted aye, and Commissioner Hansen voted aye. The motion passed.

Human Resource Payroll & Benefits Administrator Jamie Park presented the payroll report ending January 06, 2024; 238 employees were paid. Commissioner Miles made a motion to approve the January 06, 2024 payroll, as presented. Commissioner Killian seconded the motion. Auditors Office - Surplus
Clerk-Auditor Chelise Jessen presented a list of items from the Building & Grounds Department to be listed on the Surplus website. The parties review the items.
