Special Board Meeting

The mission of Duchesne County Library System is to enrich our residents’ knowledge and inspire their growth. Through these efforts the library envisions our residents empowered to strengthen each other and unite their communities.
Presiding: Chair Kathryn Crapo
Discussion will focus on:
- needs that the library staff and board see and feel that patrons have
- ideas for possible services aimed at those needs
- current services that are not very effective that could end in favor of new services
- updating the current library mission and values as needed
Ideas from the discussion will be included in the strategic planning survey to be released to the public. Patrons will be able to also suggest any service they feel is needed while answering the survey, at focus groups, and at the 2nd strategic planning meeting on November 12.
I, Daniel Mauchley, Duchesne County Library System Director, certify that on Aug. 27, 2026 pursuant to U.C.A., 52-4-202, this notice was posted at least 24 hours prior to meeting time. Notice was also given to the KVEL, Basin Now, and the Uintah Basin Standard.
