CITY OF OAKWOOD

DECEMBER 7, 2021

The Council of the city of Oakwood, State of Ohio, met in a work session at 4:30 p.m. in the second-floor training room of the city of Oakwood, 30 Park Avenue, Oakwood, Ohio, 45419, for a scheduled meeting with a representative from the office of Sherrod Brown, U.S. Senator from the State of Ohio.

The Mayor, Mr. William Duncan, presided, with minutes compiled by Clerk of Council Lori Stacel.

The following members of Council were present:

MR. WILLIAM D. DUNCAN
MR. STEVEN BYINGTON
MR. ROBERT P. STEPHENS
MRS. ANNE S. HILTON
MRS. LEIGH TURBEN

Mr. Mike King, Regional Representative to U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown, attended as a visitor. There were no other visitors in attendance.

Mayor Duncan called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m. and invited Mr. King to address City Council.

Mr. King shared that he serves in the office of U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown as a member of his state outreach and district engagement team. He provided a broad overview of support for state and local governments that was included in recently-passed federal legislation, including the Infrastructure Investment Jobs Act and the Build Back Better Act, with a focus on Senator Brown's efforts in that regard. Following the overview, a general discussion was held and Mr. King addressed Council's questions.

Council thanked Mr. King for the update and the public meeting concluded at 5:25 p.m.
