9. Discussion Items
The items below will be formally discussed among the Board and Board Professionals at tonight’s Planning Board Meeting and following all discussion may be open for public comments. These items may or may not be voted on.
  • Area in Need Study, Re-examination & Amendment of the Eastern Central Business District (ECBD) Redevelopment Plan
    Borough Council has requested the Planning Board conduct a re-examination of the ECBD Redevelopment Plan as well as conduct an area in need study and make appropriate amendments if necessary. Board will discuss all existing areas as well as the Planner will begin the Area in Need Study for the Board to review. Current overlay zones in the redevelopment plan will be discussed as well as schedule A & B for these areas. Definitions for schedule A will be discussed. Flood Zone map with Lots/Blocks to be reviewed.
    • Request from Council to look at and include 2 Park Avenue, Block 67, Lot 1 as an area in need.
    • Finalize all zones (updated map from planner)
    • Schedule C – Parking
    • Schedule B – Bulk Standards
  • Master Plan Element Review
    • Circulation Plan
10. Open Business – No Formal Discussion
The items listed below will NOT be formally discussed at tonight’s Planning Board Meeting but may have updates that may need to be provided to the board members. None of these items will be voted on by the Board.
  • Master Plan Update and Review-All remaining sections not up for formal discussion
    All committees have been given their respective sections and have submitted their comments and suggestions to the board. The Board has begun our formal review of the Master Plan to include a request to the Board Planner to complete a report. The Board will be reviewing each section individually. The Board will start reviewing the committee submissions.
  • Zoning
    As part of our re-exam of our Master Plan and our Redevelopment Plans, the Board will be reviewing all zoning through-out the borough. There are currently none before the board for discussion.
  • Projects Pending Final Approval

11. Meeting Open to the Public
All members of the public that wish to address the Board on any matter not listed on this agenda may do so at this time. All parties interested in addressing the board may approach the microphone, state their full name and address for the record, and provide their comments/questions. All comments/questions are limited to 5 minutes.
