Whereas, electronic meetings may be conducted by the Duchesne County Library Board when needed to facilitate action on timely items that cannot wait until a regular meeting; and
Whereas, members of the Duchesne County Library Board may, on occasion, participate in regularly scheduled meetings of the Board, electronically; and
Whereas, a quorum of the Duchesne County Library Board as defined in the Duchesne County Ordinance 21-384 Section 1.8.4.B must be present either in person, or electronically, for an electronic meeting; and
Whereas, electronic meetings shall be held and proper notice given in accordance with Utah Code § 52-4-207
Be it Resolved, that the following procedures could include any or all, but not limited to use of various electronic technologies:
- Teleconference
- Videoconference
- Web conference
that shall allow for roll call, interactive dialogue and will allow members of the general public and the Duchesne County library community to participate, and
Be it further resolved, that a physical location where the public can convene to listen to the electronic meeting, and provide comment where appropriate, will be identified and provided for all electronic meetings.
