WHEREAS, the Delaware-Muncie Metropolitan Plan Commission (DMMPC) is the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), as designated by the Governor of the State of Indiana, for the Muncie Urbanized Area; and
WHEREAS, the Transportation Policy Committee (TPC) is the policy committee of the Metropolitan Planning Organization involved in the transportation planning process for the Muncie Urbanized Area; and
WHEREAS, the proposed amendment to the FY 2026-2030 DMTIP to add INDOT project DES #2600168, US 35 NB & SB over Muncie Creek, 0.71 miles S SR 67 (Scour Protection) (Bridge), to add FY27 RW in the amounts of $8,000 Federal NHS funds and $2,000 State matching funds was requested by INDOT; and
WHEREAS, the proposed amendment to the FY 2026-2030 DMTIP to add INDOT project DES #2600168, to add FY28 CN in the amounts of $218,000 Federal NHS funds and $55,000 State matching funds was requested by INDOT; and
WHEREAS, a public input period was held from April 10, 2026, through April 17, 2026, in accordance with DMMPC policy; and
WHEREAS, the proposed amendment above was reviewed and approved by the TPC by e-vote concluding on April 20, 2026.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the TPC of the DMMPC as follows:
Section 1. That the FY 2026-2030 DMTIP be amended to add INDOT project DES #2600168, US 35 NB & SB over Muncie Creek, 0.71 miles S SR 67 (Scour Protection) (Bridge), to add FY27 RW in the amounts of $8,000 Federal NHS funds and $2,000 State matching funds as shown on the attached Exhibit A.
Section 2. That the FY 2026-2030 DMTIP be amended to add INDOT project DES #2600168, to add FY28 CN in the amounts of $218,000 Federal NHS funds and $55,000 State matching funds as shown on the attached Exhibit A.
