The Council of the city of Oakwood, State of Ohio, met in an executive session for Council Retreat in the second-floor meeting room at the city building, 30 Park Avenue, Oakwood, OH 45419.
Council members in attendance were Mayor William Duncan, Vice Mayor Steve Byington, Councilmember Rob Stephens, Councilmember Anne Hilton and Councilmember Leigh Turben.
The following members of staff were present: City Manager Norbert Klopsch, Leisure Services Director Carol Collins, Finance Director Cindy Stafford, Public Safety Director Alan Hill, Law Director Rob Jacques, Public Works Director Doug Spitler, City Engineer Chris Kuzma, Planning & Zoning Manager Ethan Kroger and Human Resources Manager Sangita Anand. Also attending was Oakwood resident Healy Jackson.
The Council Retreat began at 5:00 p.m. with a dinner meal. At 5:30 p.m., discussions started on financial matters and strategic planning.
Mayor Duncan adjourned the executive session at 8:25 p.m.
