Commissioner Greg Miles, Commissioner Tracy Killian, Commissioner Jeff Chugg, Clerk-Auditor Chelise Curtis, Recorder Shelley Brennan, Library Director Daniel Mauchley, Landfill Director Hal Giles, Landfill Assistant Amanda Baum, and Commission Executive Assistant Melissa Hughes is taking minutes.

Chairman Miles welcomes everyone to the meeting.
Clerk-Auditor Chelise Curtis presented the 2025 budget and noted a $4,692,255.00 deficiency. This was due to the judgment against the County.

Duchesne County's 2026 preliminary budget is $72,224,262.00
- Fund 10 – General Fund $35,368,159.00
- Fund 11 – Roads $4,150,351.00
- Fund 21 – Duchesne/Wasatch Blue Bench Landfill SSD $2,571,319.00
- Fund 22 – Library $1,135,574.00
- Fund 23 – Jr. Livestock $640,000.00
- Fund 24 – Solid Waste $955,000.00
- Fund 25 – UBMC (Villa) – Pass through $7,200,000.00
- Fund 26 – Dedicated Funds – Sheriff $60,500.00
- Fund 27 – Economic Development $443,815.00
- Fund 31 –County Fair $408,650.00
- Fund 34 – Municipal Building Authority $674,669.00
- Fund 41 – Capital Project Fund $12,500,000.00
- Fund 72 – Children’s Justice Center Grant $300,000.00
- Fund 74 – Grants $5,816,225.00
The Commissioners expressed their appreciation to Clerk-Auditor Curtis for the hard work. Commissioner Miles spoke about the judgment against the County.
