ORDINANCE NO. 2025-34

AN ORDIANCE CREATING A NEW FUND FOR GRANT RECIEVCED BY DELAWARE COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT FOR A PUBLIC SAFETYT GRANT

WHEREAS, the Delaware County Health Department has received a grant that relates to training and education regarding injury prevention issues from the State Health Department;

WHEREAS, the Delaware County Health Department has made application to the State Health Department for the funds to conduct training and education regarding injury prevention;

WHEREAS, the grant has been approved by the State Health Department and the budget that the Health Department submitted;

WHEREAS, it is necessary to establish a new fund in the Auditor’s Office into which the proceeds will be deposited;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DELAWARE COUNTY, INDIANA THAT:

    The Delaware County Auditor shall establish a fund entitled Delaware County Health Department Injury Prevention Grant and said Auditor has issued a budget fund number of 9227 with respect to these funds.
  2. 2.
    Such funds are non-reverting, and the expenditure of said funds shall not require appropriation by Delaware County Council.
