Oakwood Zoning Map

This map displays the municipal zoning districts for the City of Oakwood, Ohio, bounded to the north and northwest by the City of Dayton and to the south by the City of Kettering. The city’s territory is oriented generally north-south, with major arterial streets such as Far Hills Avenue, Oakwood Avenue, Shafor Boulevard, and Shroyer Road. The broad pale-blue residential area occupies much of northern and northwestern Oakwood, around Northview, Shank, Lookout, and Woodburn/Forest. Pale-yellow residential districts spread through the west and southwest, around Runnymede, Sweetwood, Thornhill, Walnut Grove, and Fairford. Bright-yellow blocks are concentrated along the central and eastern street grid near Patterson, Forrer, and Oakwood, while peach-colored blocks form prominent bands in the southeastern and eastern grid around Telford and Wilmington. A coral special-purpose area touches the Dayton boundary at the northwest. Diagonal hatching marks well field protection areas across northern and central portions of the map, and smaller business, transitional, wellhead-operation, and other special-purpose areas appear within the central corridor and southern districts.
