ORDINANCE 2025-21

An Ordinance for Purpose of Creating a New Fund for READI Grant for the Delaware County Redevelopment Commission

WHEREAS, the Delaware County Redevelopment Commission applied for and received a grant from Indiana Economic Development Corporation through the East Central Indiana Economic Development Corp. for economic development in Delaware County; and

WHEREAS, the Delaware County Redevelopment Commission was awarded funds to further advance this economic development and

WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners is supportive of the Delaware County Redevelopment Commission and its activities related to economic development activities in Delaware County and Delaware County Redevelopment Commission receiving these funds and a new fund needs to establish for the purposes of deposit and use of the funds by the Delaware County Redevelopment Commission; and.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF DELAWARE COUNTY, INDIANA:

  1. The Delaware County Auditor shall establish a fund entitled Delaware County Redevelopment Commission Readi Grant and the County Auditor has issued a budget fund number of 9231 with respect to these funds.
  2. Such funds are non-reverting, and the expenditure of said funds shall not require appropriation by Delaware County Council.
  3. The Delaware County Redevelopment Commission shall use the funds in said account as they determine.
  4. This Ordinance is effective upon adoption.
