The Council of the City of Oakwood, Ohio, met in a work session and executive session on Monday, June 2, 2025, in the conference room at the city building, 30 Park Avenue. The Mayor, William Duncan, presided.
Council members in attendance were Mayor William Duncan, Vice Mayor Steve Byington, Rob Stephens, Leigh Turben, and Healy Jackson. Staff members were City Manager Katie Smiddy and City Attorney Rob Jacques.
At 6:00 p.m., Council moved to an executive session for personnel matters.
At 6:30 p.m., Mayor Duncan concluded the executive session for personnel matters and moved to an executive session for property matters. Chief Hill departed at this time.
At 6:55 p.m., Mayor Duncan concluded the executive session for property matters, and Council continued with the work session.
Mayor Duncan reviewed the agenda for the regular session this evening. He then led a discussion on the following agenda items:
