Summary of Work:
Chiller #2 - System #1 Compressor Replacement
We hereby propose to furnish all labor and materials necessary to complete the following scope of work:
1)
Lock out/tag out electrical power to System 1 Chiller 2 and verify equipment is safely de-energized.
2)
Diagnose compressor failure due to repeated breaker trips and verify electrical/mechanical fault.
3)
Recover refrigerant in accordance with EPA regulations and isolate the refrigeration circuit.
4)
Disconnect electrical wiring, piping, and controls; remove the failed compressor from the chiller.
5)
Inspect refrigeration system for contamination, perform acid test, and replace filter driers as required.
6)
Install new compressor with new vibration isolators, gaskets, and required piping modifications.
7)
Pressure test the refrigeration circuit with nitrogen, repair any leaks if found, and evacuate the system to deep vacuum.
8)
Recharge the system with the manufacturer's specified refrigerant charge and compressor oil.
9)
Reconnect all electrical components, verify phase rotation, megger motor windings, and perform startup procedures.
10)
Test run the chiller under operating conditions, verify proper compressor amperage, pressures, temperatures, and confirm breaker no longer trips before returning the system to service.
The above work will be performed in a workmanlike manner in accordance with the terms and conditions and the drawings and specifications, if applicable.
