Welcome / Roll call: Vice Chair Kathryn Crapo, Director Daniel Mauchley, Chair Jessica Shaw (arrived at 4:35), Deb Evans, Commissioner Jeff Chugg, Jesse Walker, Secretary Amy Snow, Jenny Adams.

February 2026 minutes approval. The board reviewed the February 2026 minutes. A motion was made by Deb Evans to approve the minutes as written, seconded by Jesse Walker. The motion passed unanimously.

$3,000 Tech Enhancement Grant. The grant will be used to replace aging staff computers from 2018.

Board Training: Labeling and Ratings Systems. The Director reviewed the American Library Association (ALA) stance on labeling and rating systems. While individuals have the right to their own opinions about materials, labeling systems may conflict with the principles of intellectual freedom. The library may provide information about available rating systems, but does not endorse any specific system. One exception is that the library does use the MPAA rating system for movies.

Review of Internet Policy. Information regarding copyright laws, including the pirating of physical and digital materials, was added to the policy. The board reviewed and discussed the updates.
