Resolution 26-46
Whereas, the Delaware-Muncie Metropolitan Plan Commission (DMMPC) is the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), as designated by the Governor of the State of Indiana, for the Muncie Urbanized Area; and
Whereas, the Transportation Policy Committee (TPC) is the policy committee of the Metropolitan Planning Organization involved in the transportation planning process for the Muncie Urbanized Area; and
Whereas, the proposed modification to the FY 2026-2030 DMTIP to decrease INDOT project DES # 2401488, 0.12 miles N of SR 32 to 0.11 miles S of SR 332 (7 miles) (HMA Overlay, Structural), to decrease FY26 PE to $3,212,000 Federal NHPP funds and to decrease PE local funds to $358,000 for a total decrease of $1,730,000 was requested by INDOT; and
Whereas, the proposed modification to the FY 2026-2030 DMTIP to increase INDOT project DES # 2401488, 0.12 miles N of SR 32 to 0.11 miles S of SR 332 (7 miles) (HMA Overlay, Structural), to increase FY27 PE to $3,460,000 Federal NHPP funds and to increase PE local funds to $386,000 for a total increase of $1,923,000 was requested by INDOT; and
Whereas, the proposed modification above was approved and processed by the Muncie-Delaware Metropolitan Plan Commission (DMMPC) Muncie MPO on June 10, 2026.
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Delaware Muncie Plan Commission (DMMPC) as follows:
Section 1. That the FY 2026-2030 DMTIP to decrease INDOT project DES # 2401488, 0.12 miles N of SR 32 to 0.11 miles S of SR 332 (7 miles) (HMA Overlay, Structural), to decrease FY26 PE to $3,212,000 Federal NHPP funds and to decrease PE local funds to $358,000 for a total decrease of $1,730,000as shown on the attached Exhibit A.
Section 2. That the FY 2026-2030 DMTIP to increase INDOT project DES # 2401488, 0.12 miles N of SR 32 to 0.11 miles S of SR 332 (7 miles) (HMA Overlay, Structural), to increase FY27 PE to $3,460,000 Federal NHPP funds and to increase PE local funds to $386,000 for a total increase of $1,923,000 on the attached Exhibit A.
