Mrs. Turben announced that the Oakwood Sister City Association has confirmed Oakwood's participation in an international tennis tournament alongside representatives from Le Vésinet and Outremont, which will take place in Outremont, Canada.
Mr. Stephens congratulated Captain Balaj and Lieutenant Staley on their well-deserved promotions. He commended Chief Hill for effectively recruiting and developing the Public Safety Department.
Vice Mayor Byington expressed his agreement with Mr. Stephens' remarks regarding the Public Safety Department. He encouraged citizens to participate in the upcoming vote tomorrow and invited everyone to the “That Day in May” event scheduled for Saturday, May 17. In concluding his remarks, he shared his experience attending a concert organized by the University of Dayton New Horizons Music Program.
Mayor Duncan shared that he recently attended a Dayton Philharmonic Junior Strings concert at the Schuster Center.
