• Mrs. Jackson asked for a status update on contract negotiations with the union representing Public Works employees. As Council was not in an executive session, Mrs. Smiddy addressed this in general terms.
  • Mrs. Jackson questioned wording in the draft minutes for the February 2 work session; Mrs. Smiddy noted her corrections. Mr. Dorf acknowledged that he would move to adopt the minutes “as corrected” during the Regular Session tonight.
  • Mrs. Turben referenced a list of upcoming area tax levies from the Dayton Daily News and questioned why Oakwood’s renewal levy was not included; Mayor Duncan noted that the list is for May levies and Oakwood’s levy is intended for the November ballot.
  • Mrs. Jackson questioned figures in the recent water loss study that was conducted by Fishbeck. She would like the consultant to address these at an upcoming meeting.
  • Mr. Jacques informed Council of a citizen complaint recently received, involving the City’s response to a public records request. As this is an ongoing matter with the requester, Council directed Mr. Jacques to respond on Council’s behalf.

At 7:26 p.m., Mayor Duncan concluded the work session, and Council moved to regular session.
