      • Old River Fields and Lane Stadium: Mr. Klopsch and Chief Hill commented on a discussion between the city and Oakwood Schools addressing ongoing problems with unauthorized uses of the Old River Fields and Lane Stadium. Additional discussions are planned among city and school officials.
    • Streets & Alleys, Mr. Stephens
      • Far Hills Resurfacing Project: Mr. Klopsch reported that the resurfacing work on Far Hills Avenue was scheduled to resume this morning, but did not occur due to equipment failure. Work should start again tomorrow.

Director Green and Chief Hill departed the meeting at this time.

  • BOARDS & COMMISSIONS
    • Historical Society, Mrs. Jackson
      • Long-Romspert Special Use: Mr. Klopsch and Mr. Jacques explained that city staff drafted updated special use conditions for the use of the Long-Romspert property and will soon meet with Historical Society representatives to discuss the document.
  • MISCELLANEOUS
    • Fraud Reporting Training: Mr. Klopsch reminded City Council of the need to complete the online training mandated by Ohio Senate Bill 91.
    • BZA Vacancy: Mayor Duncan reported that he contacted Samantha Elder about the BZA position and is awaiting a response.

At 8:10 p.m., Council moved to an executive session for personnel matters. Mr. Jacques departed the meeting at this time.

At 8:37 p.m., Mayor Duncan concluded the executive session and adjourned the meeting.
