Recycling Facility: Mr. Klopsch reported on the status of the project. All of the curb work was completed last week. The next big step is asphalt pavement, which is scheduled for late this week. A ribbon cutting ceremony is being planned for late November or early December.

Utility Pole Replacement: Mr. Klopsch distributed a memorandum explaining additional permit application requirements for utility companies replacing poles in the public right-of-way. The requirements relate to project planning to ensure that removal of old poles is completed within the 120 day limit prescribed by the city right-of-way ordinance.

2024 Far Hills Roadway Resurfacing: Mr. Klopsch noted that all of Far Hills Avenue is scheduled for total roadway resurfacing in 2024. Several other projects including curb repair, stormwater inlet repair, Far Hills storm sewer replacement, and CenterPoint gas line work will be completed before the roadway resurfacing.

City Manager Photo Wall: Mr. Klopsch mentioned that staff is working on building a photo display for the city managers that have served Oakwood since 1931, the year that Oakwood officially became a city.
