Commissioners discussion regarding the claims included Commissioner Riggin identifying a duplicate payment of $4,246.91, which was removed from the initial total of $3,219,896.45. Commissioner Brand highlighted significant payments, including $80,56.16 for innkeepers' tax, multiple TIF bond payments such as Morrison TIF ($332,938.75) and CAPACK ($1,219,413.89), and $20,860.33 for road salt and sand. Rita Faulkner, 1515 West Bethel Avenue, Muncie expressed concern regarding the timely publication of meeting minutes and the use of AI for summaries
Rick Yencer, Muncie, suggested the county move toward public bidding for transparency and noted concerns over high taxes and the cost of living.

Shannon Henry: Thanked the Highway Department for their extensive 24-hour shifts during recent snow removal efforts and criticized "childish" behavior on the meeting sign-in sheet.
Sherry Riggin: Praised the County Highway department for their sidewalk clearing efforts.
