7. DATA CLASSIFICATION AND RETENTION

Retention may be extended under legal hold or supervisor directive.
8. DATA DISSEMINATION
- Release of UAS footage must be approved by the Sheriff, Program Manager or Deputy Program Manager.
- Public release requests shall follow the Indiana Access to Public Records Act.
- Sensitive content, identifiable individuals, or protected data must be reviewed and redacted before release.
- No UAS data shall be transmitted through personal devices or non-secure platforms.
9. VIOLATIONS
Unauthorized access, copying, modification, dissemination, or destruction of UAS data may result in:
- Disciplinary action
- Revocation of UAS operator privileges
