- Revisit updating tree inventory for town.
- Draft revised shade tree ordinance to borough for approval.
- Continue work with District Management Association to resolve Main Street tree issues.
- Survey the town trees for hazards and replacement needs. Make recommendations for removing high hazard tree based on their threat and identify new planting locations.
- Invite DPW Director to meetings, borough walk through and events to heighten awareness.
- Increase outreach efforts by the posting and distribution of information concerning the community trees and resources through the town web site, email newsletter, park kiosk, and local TV station. Use outreach efforts to gain supporters and volunteers.
- Obtain required state forestry core training for another Environmental Commissioner/staff. Obtain annual required state forestry CEU’s for Commissioners.
- Conduct annual Arbor Day program. Hold tree arbor maintenance work days.
- Plant 25-50 trees towards goal of reducing tree vacancy
- Seek tree donations and grants. Apply for available funding.
