Summary: There is no current known plan for wildlife protection. Therefore the Somerville Environmental Commission will investigate needs pertinent to Somerville, research solutions, consult with our fire officials and determine the need to write a plan.

Establish programs to recycle trees – free mulch from removed tree debris, Christmas Tree Recycling Program, Tree Removal Utilization Programs

Promotes the establishment of a sidewalk maintenance program that encourages alternatives to tree removal through curbing and replacing sidewalks where appropriate
