Recreation Coordinator. She concluded her comments by providing an update on the Business First Walk, which gathered input from local businesses on their needs and how the City can support them.

Mayor Duncan commented on the use of e-bikes in the community, which is regulated by state law, and the enforceability of these regulations. City Council and staff are exploring how other cities are managing similar issues. City Council strongly encourages parents to have conversations with their children about safety rules for e-bike use.

Mayor Duncan then provided an update on the 2600 Far Hills building. The City has asked Kettering Health Network to make some cosmetic improvements to the parking lot. Additionally, there was an oral agreement with Dorothy Lane Market to share a portion of the associated costs.

Mr. Stephens emphasized that running a city requires significant effort, and he highlighted the importance of committee participation. He expressed his gratitude to everyone for their dedication and the time they devote to volunteering on committees that serve their community.

Mayor Duncan recognized that it was Mr. Stephens's last year on council and thanked him for 16 years of outstanding service.

Mayor Duncan asked for a motion to recommend approval of the 2026 budget. Motion by Mr. Kinsey; second by Mrs. Halpin. Upon a viva voce vote, motion passed.

The meeting concluded with a brief discussion about the City’s water service line infrastructure.
