OAKWOOD CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION
AUGUST 4, 2025
The Council of the City of Oakwood, Ohio, met in a work session on Monday, August 4, 2025, in the conference room at the city building, 30 Park Avenue. The Mayor, William Duncan, presided.
Council members in attendance were Mayor William Duncan, Vice Mayor Steve Byington, Rob Stephens, Leigh Turben, and Healy Jackson. Staff members were City Manager Katie Smiddy and City Attorney Rob Jacques.
Mayor Duncan called the work session to order at 6:30 p.m. and reviewed the agenda for the regular session this evening. Thereafter, he led a discussion on the following agenda items:
- STATUS REPORTS: None scheduled.
- VISITORS: Mayor Duncan shared that a representative from Premier Health will be recognizing Oakwood Public Safety personnel for their lifesaving response to a cardiac emergency on March 11, 2025.
- LEGISLATION: Mayor Duncan noted that there is no legislation scheduled for the regular session this evening.
