Shafor Park Tennis Facility: Mr. Klopsch reported that staff is moving forward with plan development on the 2018 Shafor Park Tennis Court Project. The preferred design concept involves building a five court facility with a 25-space parking lot between the tennis courts and East Schantz Avenue. Staff plans to hire MSA to assist with the design and construction management services, and plans to bid the project in early 2018. Staff will meet with neighboring property owners over the next few weeks to provide an update on the project and present the preferred option. The five court option provides for this facility to become a joint-use tennis center for the city and the Oakwood Schools.

Safety & Traffic, Mr. Stephens

Shroyer Road Project: Mr. Klopsch noted that all work on the Shroyer Road Project is completed, except for the installation of the irrigation system, trees and mulch. This work is expected to be done within the next two weeks.

Speed Enforcement and Stop Signs: Mr. Klopsch noted that Captain Mike Jones has been in contact with Oakwood residents that attended the October council meeting and expressed concerns about vehicle speeds in Oakwood. Staff will make public comments on this matter at the December 11 council meeting.

2018 Committee Needs: Mr. Klopsch mentioned that he will include a list of 2018 committee needs in an upcoming newsletter packet.
