• Municipal Income Tax: Mr. Klopsch reviewed the paper previously prepared providing four different options to address the loss of municipal income tax. These options included three methods of establishing tax credit limits and one method of raising the tax rate. Mr. Klopsch noted that the zero credit method creates individual taxing percentages that vary significantly and suggested that this method be eliminated from consideration. There being no opposition expressed, Mr. Klopsch will edit the paper to now reflect three options.
• Public Properties, Mr. Epley
• Schenck Pocket Park: Mr. Klopsch provided an update on the status of planning for the park improvements at Schenck and Oakwood Avenues. The additional money to be appropriated at the regular session this evening is needed to complete this park project, and will be offset by grant money received from the Montgomery County Solid Waste District and from private donations.
• Safety & Traffic, Mr. Stephens
• Shroyer Road Project: Mr. Klopsch gave an update on the Shroyer Road construction work. The project is progressing well.
• E-911 Charge: Mr. Klopsch noted that the Montgomery County 911 Planning Committee has not met over the past few months and there is currently no pending plan to establish new charges on the Montgomery County PSAPs.
• Streets & Alleys, Mr. Stephens
• Ridgeway Road: Mr. Klopsch reported that concrete repair work on Ridgeway Road is progressing well and that additional work will take place over the next month or so. The streetlight replacement project is scheduled to take place over the next two months.
• REGIONAL AGENCIES
• MVCC, Mr. Epley
• Broadband Project: Mr. Klopsch reported that there is no additional information currently available on the MVCC Broadband Project. This will be discussed again at a future work session.
• MISCELLANEOUS
• August Council Meetings: Mr. Klopsch noted that the August regular session was moved from August 7 to August 21.

There being no other business, Mayor Duncan adjourned the work session at 7:25 p.m. at which time Council moved to the regular session.
