The Delaware County Board of Commissioners for Delaware County, Indiana, a county entity duly organized pursuant to the laws of the State of Indiana (“County”), issues this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) to prospective entities interested in submitting a proposal (“Offerors”) to provide on-call mowing and vegetation management service beginning immediately for Delaware County in this Request for Proposal (RFP).

The County seeks competitive proposals for mowing and vegetation management services covering County property. Services include:

• Mowing tall grass and weeds;
• Brush cutting using string trimmers or brush cutters;
• Removal of nuisance vegetation by manual removal or;
• Removal of nuisance vegetation by spraying aqua friendly products (licensing proof required);
• Trimming around fences, buildings, signs, trees, and utilities;
• Clearing vegetation from sidewalks and right-of-ways where directed;
• Disposal of excessive vegetation debris when requested; and
• Returning a property to a maintained condition.

The contractor shall:

• Provide trained personnel
• Maintain all required licenses
• Comply with OSHA, IDEM, and DNR requirements
• Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws
• Repair any damage caused by contractor operations
• Remove all trash encountered during mowing.
